Tip of The Iceberg


In several cases, I've noticed that a person would act very casually and with ease in situations that usually place strain on others. For example, he would be tempted by money, but would simply wave it away easily.

The reality of the matter is that what we see is, in a sense, only the tip of the iceberg. In other words, this person has been building his inner moral strength for, say, 15 or 20 years, so although his behavior might seem extraordinary, it makes perfect sense when you learn of his previous effort.

There are so many other things like this in life where we things just happen where in reality so many previous elements had actually factored in the final result.
