One of the interesting things about management is that you have to get the whole process right or it doesn't count. Very much like building a machine.You have to choose your focus correctly, recruit the right people, and execute well. All of these main steps require internal steps that have to be done correctly also. Any major mistakes will mean you fail to diliver results.

I don't think this is a bad thing. If mass leadership or management of human potential were easy, there is no telling what could happen to the world. There are lots of things that are difficult or complex by design.
