"Be" to Be Happy

I've always admired people who were spontaneous; you sense when speaking with them that they are real. How can you realize change within yourself to the degree that that change becomes “you”? In other words, how can I be good enough from the inside that I earn the liberty to speak what's on my mind without shame of what I am or fear of what I might say?

Let's look at anyone that does an activity that requires spontaneity, such as soldiers and athletes. These people have made a commitment to action and to a certain outcome; such people have to have free flow of thought and motion; they can't hesitate; they just act and therein lies the key I think. Such people have already decided to really be something, on a physical level, in order to be able to act without hesitation. The athlete has already decided to do whatever it takes to win, so his decisions are split-second.

Their commitment to deliver or attain an outcome without hesitation forces them to "be", and therein lies satisfaction and happiness if applied on a emotional and spiritual level.

This continuum (be-do-have) is the basic alchemy of greatness. True and eternal greatness and happiness, which transcends the boundaries of this mortal world, require shifting the have from worldly positions to divine submission.

Be good, and the more spontaneous your, the better.
