Although we live together, we belong to different dimensions of the physical or virtual world.
Stature, beauty, wealth, significance, service could all be central values that groups of people and silent systems revolve around. What buys distinction in one world, might go unnoticed in another. They have distinct currencies, laws, peoples, hierarchies, cultures, and values.
If only we could use a dye to color these worlds to start to see how people interact, which person is living in what world, the laws they live by, what each world values...get a peek behind the curtain so to speak.
It is wrong to transpose my definition of happiness on someone who lives in a different world than mine. Much of the pain we see in cultures today is because they have adopted happiness that doesn't belong and, as a result, doesn't work in their worlds.
