People Have Different Buttons


What most of us don’t register is how much people innately sense what benefits them and what doesn’t. When someone doesn’t react to what we are saying, we just try harder!

Sometimes, you think that someone is stupid or impassionate, so you try to explain/express even more thinking that you will make him understand. We act and say and whatever to try to influence people not knowing that most don’t react because they SENSE, intrinsically, that what we presenting doesn’t benefit them within their framework of priorities. Some are just not influenced by money or personal gain. Others are not moved by morals or vision.

For those who value money, go ahead and offer them 1,000,000; really, do you need to say or explain anything?

For those who value relationships, go ahead and offer them your friendship and service, does anything more need to be said?

What you want is not of substance. What they value is what is important. If these correspond than, well, things will go uphill. If not, sorry, but it is going to be a zero sum game.

i think your are right about people having different driving forces.
and it explains why people have different buttons. but, is it right to give a person what HE wants so i can get what I want?.
