Sometimes, we tend to think that our desire is enough proof for the legitimacy of our actions. If overeating is wrong, why does food taste so good? If having a relationship with the opposite sex is wrong, why are women/men so attractive? If perseverance is the right way to achieve success, why is it so hard?
Paradigm shift: We are here in life for precisely that purpose, to be tested and tempted. It's basically a huge test tube. The sooner we get a grip on that reality, the sooner the pieces of the puzzle start falling in place and making sense.
